Hi, I’m Nancy Church, a CPA in Portland, Oregon with over 20 years’ experience in auditing, accounting and consulting for nonprofit organizations. I concentrate on assisting small nonprofits with their accounting systems to reduce frustration, increase accuracy and efficiency in accounting and reporting, and help accountants and bookkeepers love their work.

This blog is meant to encourage conversation among those of us engaged in this work so we can learn from each other and create a sense of community that many of us (most?) don’t have at work because we tend to be the only ones working with the accounting side of our organizations’ mission. It can be lonely at times!
